Former Whitesnake guitarist Mel Galley has personally uncovered a man who has been posing as himself.
Ken Grimley from Ripley in Yorkshire had allegedly been signing autographs and posing as the Whitesnake star to people.
Galley caught wind of this scam and decided to pay a personal visit to the fraud’s home. When he got there Grimley did not realise who he was and was only too happy to sign an autograph for him.
Galley then confronted him before letting a very “flustered” Grinley off. He said of the episode: "I found the experience really eerie. All I wanted to do was get out of the house. I'm furious this man has been leading his life as me. I don't wish him any harm but he needed to be shamed so he can't do it any more."

- What’s the BFG stand for? Big F*****g Gorilla? You’re clearly a rock moron if you don’t know about the body of work turned out by Mr Galley, one of THE great guitarists and admired by many of his fellow musicians!!
- John Sykes, vivian Campbell and Adrian Vandenberg were the original key guitarists that made Whitesnake what it was. Never heard of this Galley guy.

- Mel Galley was the original guitarist in Trapeze, an amazing three piece with Glen Hughes. Very important band.
