Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner was bitten by bedbugs whilst recording new material alongside Rascals singer, Miles Kane.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Turner is recording an album alongside Kane – in what will be his first project away from the Sheffield band.
According to Miles, whilst recording the material in an farmhouse in France, the two roommates faced an number of unexpected visitors through the night.
“Al and I shared a massive room with six little beds — and they all had fleas and bedbugs. I would move beds every night but they still found me,” Kane told the Sun.
He added: “I had loads of bites on my ankles. Maybe I’ve got sweet blood.”
The experimental album – which is due to be released next year – features both Turner and Kane on a variety of instruments.
