Beirut have finished recording the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut ‘Gulag Orkestar’.
‘The Flying Club’ was recorded at the Arcade Fire’s studio in Quebec, with main man Zach Condon confirming it features many of the Eastern European influences he digested whilst living in Paris, and heavily informed his debut.
The album is released on both sides of the Atlantic next month, with the nine piece band heading out on a US tour later this month.
