After wowing the festivals, The Go! Team made their return to headlining live action last night (September 12) with a show at the Electric Ballroom in Camden.
Despite some sound problems at the start, with Ninja’s raps barely audible, the set soon picked up pace and was suitably vibrant and colourful.
The show celebrated the release of their second album ‘Proof of Youth’ on Monday and kick started with a kicking rendition of ‘Flashlight Fight’, lifted from it.
The six piece were in good spirits throughout and treated the packed venue to a older tracks like ‘Panther Dash’ and ‘Everyone’s A VIP To Someone’ and newer offerings like the searing ‘Titanic Vandalism.’
However, the highlights were saved for the encore with ‘Doing It Right’ and ‘Ladyflash.’
The band continue their three dates stint win Manchester tonight, before winding up in Glasgow on Friday. They then play a full UK tour, beginning at the end of the month. For tickets, click the link at the bottom of the page.
