The Go! Team’s songwriter and main man Ian Parton has revealed that he was offered to produce a Craig David track.
However, he was far from pleased with the unlikely request instead saying that he was “mildly insulted.”
Parton explained: “I was asked to produce Craig David. I couldn’t believe it. I was mildly insulted and a bit gutted, frankly.”
He continued to the Daily Star: “I can’t make slick sounding pop records so I guess a bit of white noise might make Craig sound more interesting.”
Meanwhile, The Go! Team played a triumphant show at the Electric Ballroom in Camden last night as a warm up for their upcoming university tour.
