The Holloways may not be able to dance but they have once again provided a fine example of contagious indie-pop for the 2007 re-working of their B-side to debut single ‘Generator’. 'Two Left Feet' is a summer fuelled upbeat song mixing Razorlight style guitars and a Libertines-esque harmonica drifting harmoniously amongst injections of infectious fiddling. The battling vocals of Alfie Jackson and Rob Skipper dance in a tale of drunken dancing, looking like a tramp and trying to find a girl. The songs vibe fits alongside former single ‘Dancefloor’ in the tales of an evening’s entertainment and the simplicity and somewhat weak lyrics are quickly overlooked by the catchy melody.
Released 24/09/2007 on TVT.
