How many words does it take to write ‘unoriginal band-wagoning upstarts who have jammied a release simply on the back of supporting The Fratelli’s/The Enemy (delete as appropriate) and who wouldn’t know the meaning of the word ‘ground-breaking’ if it was rubber-stamped their sweaty Glaswegian foreheads?’ Thirty-eight. Splendid. Now that’s out the system, flip 'Nitty Gritty' over to track two, and you’ll find a gem of a track called ‘Creeping Up The Backstairs’, sorry, couldn’t help it. There is potential in Figure 5 somewhere, I just can’t be arsed to look for it.
Released 10/09/07 on Relentless Records.
