Sunday Best’s landmark 50th release is the Dub Pistols cover of The Strangler’s classic ‘Peaches’ which features on the Pistols latest offering ‘Speakers and Tweeters’. UK Hip-Hop architect Rodney P and Specials’ frontman Terry Hall take over the lyrical duties, but it is the remix workings of MYNC Project and separately the Utah Saints that give the track its irresistibility. Correlli’s minimal styling gives the track a deeper darker undertone whereas the Saints simply push for bass-throbing intensity. Expect to hear both at this year’s closing parties. It’s another beautiful day and you know what that means…see you down the front.
Released 10/09/07 on Sunday Best Records.
