Kanye West is currently trouncing 50 Cent for album sales on both sides of the Atlantic.
‘Graduation’ by Kanye West and ‘Curtis’ by Fiddy were both released on the same day this week and a competing for the number one spot.
According to a sales house in America, Kanye West is predicted to shift around 700,000 units, while 50 Cent is expected to sell much less. Amazon.com announced last week that pre-orders for Kanye’s album were five times higher than for ‘Curtis.’
Of course, West is also being helped by his outspoken views on Britney Spears’ disastrous comeback at the MTV Video Music Awards.
He’s now accused MTV of exploiting the pop stars in a bid to win ratings: "Man, they were trying to get ratings. They knew she wasn't ready and they exploited her."
