Happy Mondays are set to light up Madchester once again this Christmas with the announcement of a huge homecoming show at Manchester Central on December 14.
The gig will bring a climax to their upcoming UK tour with dates scheduled for September/October and the band currently showcasing their new album ‘Uncle Dysfunktional’.
When asked about the event Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder explained: “It’s going to be one of the gigs of the year, even better than when we sold out Manchester Arena in 2005.”
Special guests on the evening will be The Twang, The Sunshine Underground and DJ Clint Boon.
Tickets for the event are priced at £28.50 and available from the September 14 via Gigwise.
