After weeks of buzz, an out-of-shape and out-of-touch Britney Spears took to the stage at the MTV VMA’s on Sunday with a disastrous comeback performance.
Kicking off the awards ceremony with her new single ‘Gimme More,’ the troubled pop-tart looked unprepared and she walked through most of her performance with little enthusiasm.
Most of the celebrity filled audience, including 50-Cent and P-Diddy looked expressionless as the 25-year-old appeared to have forgotten the art of lip-synching.
Branded by MTV as one of the most anticipated performances, it was undoubtedly the direst of the night.

yeah not great by any means
- I think she was on Valium or something to that nature...
- such a shame...everyone was hoping to see her at least on the road back to form. Small steps Brit...but come on, get it together!
- And she obviously couldn’t afford a decent weave? OUCH. Just plain painful to watch.
- she should have worn tennis shoes and some shorts and showed everyone that at least she could still dance.
