Thanks to her appearance at the Mercury Music Prize last week, Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back To Black’ stayed strong at number two, while Athlete entered at five with their new effort ‘Beyond The Neighbourhood.’ Plain White T’s charted respectably at three with ‘Every Second Count.’
In a quiet week in the singles chart, the biggest news of the week was that Pavarotti posthumously charted at number 24 with ‘Nessun Dorma’ thanks to downloads.
Teenage Sean Kingston retained the number one spot with Beautiful Girls, while the highest entry came in at five – Girls Aloud’s ‘Sexy No No No.’
