Hard-Fi's Archer: 'Tabloid Press Are W@nkers'

Hard-Fi’s Richard Archer has labelled certain sections of the press as ‘wankers’ over a fabricated story of a romance between himself and Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson. 

Last year, the tabloids claimed that the frontman and Johansson had sparked up a relationship during her time filming the Woody Allen movie ‘Scoop’ in London.

Johansson later strongly refuted the claims, saying that she had never even met the Staines singer.

Now, a clearly irate Archer blasted in an interview, as quoted by WENN, “"It was a total lie. And when I rang the newspaper to tell them, they just ran another story saying I was a fantasist and that I'd made the whole thing up for publicity. The wankers."
