Britney Spears is expected to make her on-stage comeback at this weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards in America.
The singer will be performing her new single, ‘Gimmie More,’ and another new track, ‘Cry,’ at the ceremony on September 9th, according to USA today.
Her performance will reportedly feature an onstage illusion where the singer will appear and disappear in a mirror.
It’s understood that she has working on the spectacle with illusionist Criss Angel.
Spears’ comeback single, ‘Gimmie More,’ received its first play on American radio last week to mixed critical response.
The single will be the first song taken from her as-yet-untitled new album. The follow-up to 2003's, 'In The Zone,' will be released on November 13th.
