US rapper The Game has had his trial date for gun charges set in America.
The rapper will appear in court on September 25th charged with making criminal threats, exhibiting a firearm on the grounds of a facility for minors and possessing a firearm in a school zone.
The Game - real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor – was arrested in May this year for allegedly threatening to shoot somebody during a basketball game at a college in Los Angeles in February, reports the BBC.
He was released on bail after paying a $50,000 bail charge.
The Game burst onto the scene in 2005 when his debut album, ‘The Documentary,’ was nominated for two Grammy’s.
If found guilty, the rapper could face a maximum of five years in jail.
