Nationwide Mercury Prize winners Klaxons have told Gigwise that they plan to give their £20,000 prize money away to charity.
We caught up with the trio earlier on in the night, when Jamie Reynolds - sporting his plaster cast foot as always - said they will be keeping non of the cash in the event of winning.
He said: “We want to donate the money to a very worthy cause – we haven’t considered who it is yet but we want to give money to something interesting, we want to inject a spark somewhere.”
Klaxons were third favourite to scoop the prestigious honour at the start of the night, behind favourite Bat For Lashes and the rejuvinated Amy Winehouse.
