Amy Winehouse has made a spectacular return to the stage tonight (September 4th) at the Mercury Music Prize in London.
Jetting in especially for the event from a holiday in St. Lucia, Winehouse took to the stage at tonight’s ceremony in a small white, blue and green dress and looked in a lot better health than in recent pictures.
After being introduced by the shows host Jools Holland, the singer performed an acoustic version of the track, ‘Love Is A losing Game,’ from her second album, ‘Back To Black.’
The stripped down version of the song received the biggest round of applause from the crowd of the evening, with Holland proclaiming Winehouse’s voice as “one of the best voices of anybody of all time.”
Winehouse was then escorted by security back to her table where she kissed her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and hugged her father, Mitch, in a very public show of affection.
