Amy Winehouse has arrived at the Nationwide Mercury Music Prize - increasing speculation that the singer will pick up tonight’s prize.
Winehouse was not expected to appear at the annual awards bash at the Grosvenor Hotel in London because of her recent troubles.
A source told Gigwise on the red carpet, however, that the singer has booked out a number of rooms at the hotel for herself and a huge entourage.
Although there is no confirmation on whether Winehouse will make her live return at the ceremony tonight, her obvious presence has increased rumours that she’ll pick up the award for her album, ‘Back To Black,’ later this evening.
Winehouse flew back into the UK yesterday morning (September 3rd) from St. Lucia alongside her husband Blake Fielder-Civil.
Meanwhile, nominees Klaxons, Bat For Lashes and Basquiat Strings have also arrived at this years bash so far.
