Amy Winehouse looks set to make her live return tonight (September 4th) at the Mercury Music Prize awards ceremony in London.
Winehouse had not been expected to attend the awards after cancelling her upcoming tour dates, but is apparently still scheduled to sound check at 1pm, reports the BBC.
The singer flew back into the UK yesterday after spending a holiday in St Lucia with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil to escape press attention.
She has not performed live since appearing as part of the iTunes Festival in London on August 25th.
Winehouse is nominated for this year’s music prize, which takes place at The Grosvenor Hotel, for her second album, ‘Back To Black.’
Arctic Monkeys, The Young Knives and New Young Pony Club are among the other nominees for this year’s prize.
