Envy Corps Brandon Darner is recovering after suffering a stroke last week before a show in London.
As previously reported on Gigwise Darner was rushed to hospital before the show at the Water Rats on Wednesday (August 29).
Speaking on their myspace page his band mates revealed that the guitarist is doing well and that he hopes to be back for their forthcoming tour dates.
They wrote: “As you've probably read, doctors determined Brandon suffered a stroke Wednesday night.
“Fortunately enough we were able to get him into hospital nearly immediately, which bodes well for a full recovery.
“His left side was completely numb at the time of collapse, and over the last two days he has made amazing progress, regaining most of the feeling on that side. Just this afternoon he was having a go at the guitar again.
”We are very optimistic that the upcoming dates with Milburn and the Hoosiers will go on as planned.
“Thank you all very much for your continued support, we appreciate everyone who has called, emailed and commented.”
