Eddie Vedder surprised fans at the Bumbershoot festival in Seattle on Saturday by taking to the stage to perform with Crowded House.
The Pearl Jam man shared vocals on ‘World Where You Live’ with Neil Finn before taking up the guitar for ‘Something So Strong’.
The appearance came amongst a greatest hits packed set from the Kiwis which also included ‘Weather With You’, ‘Distant Sun’, ‘Locked Out’ and Fall At Your Feet’.
Also performing at Bumbershoot were The Shins who carried on their recent tradition of sliiping a cover into their sets by taking on Pink Floyd’s ‘Breathe’.
Other bands appearing at the festival included Panic! At The Disco, Gogol Bordello, Kings Of Leon, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Fergie.
