The Enemy signed off a whirlwind performance at the Jersey Live festival by thanking the Rolling Stones for their recent support slot.
The band warmed up for the veteran rockers at the final night of their London residency at the 02 Arena –formerly Millennium Dome - on August 26th.
Speaking to Gigwise backstage after their performance in Jersey the band’s front man Tom Clarke admitted that it had capped off a fantastic year for the Coventry trio.
“The O2 Arena...the Millennium Dome was never good for much but as the O2 Arena it’s ****ing better,” he told Gigwise.
“I mean the Stones, we didn’t get to talk to them that much because there’s obviously the machine that surrounds them but yeah, it was really good, a good gig.”
Speaking after an electric set which showcased the finer tracks from their number one debut album, ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns,’ Clarke also admitted that the material is already in place for album number two.
