Does It Offend You, Yeah? have revealed that they are working on their as-yet-untitled debut album with the same producer who masterminded Interpol’s third album.
Speaking to Gigwise backstage at the Jersey Live festival the dance-cum-rock band revealed that Costey is helping oversee the project.
“We’ve been talking with Rich Costey over the internet and he’s coming over with us in October for a week to go over everything with us.”
The band also dismissed their recent signing to Virgin records as being a sell-out to their independent roots.
“They were the only ones that we felt understood what we were trying to do. They stressed not to rush it or anything, do what you wanna do.”
Jersey Live continues tonight with performances from The Fratellis, the Twang and The Enemy. Stay tuned to Gigwise’s blog, here.
