Arctic Monkey’s fans have created a smelly problem at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s Old Trafford ground after they urinated all over the pitch.
It fellow’s the Arctic’s huge shows at the venue earlier this month that saw over 100,000 people attend.
Apparently parts of the pitch were flooded by impatient people relieving themselves on the grass instead of in the portaloos.
Player from Lancashire and Hampshire were hit by the smell last week after a rain affected four day match at the ground.
Hampshire wicketkeeper Nic Pothas complained to the Sun: “The smell on the outfield was diabolical, and it was obviously stale wee.
“A couple of the Lancashire players went to them (the gigs) and told us they’d never seen so many people relieving themselves
“Men were peeing into empty pint glasses and emptying the contents on the outfield, and women were squatting to pee due to long toilet queues
“The main worry for the fielding side was when it came to having to shine the ball.”

- Suing me, suing you...

- It wasnt the fact that they wanted to urinate on the pitch it was the fact that there was only about 40 porterloos for 50,000 people women were having to use the male toilets it was that bad!

The problem was that there was only around 30 porterloos for 50,000 people which i saw (at the front near the burger vans) so what do they expect no alcohol consumption

- If enough toilets had been provided for the amount of people they let in this would not been an issue. serves them right for cramming too many people in and being greedy.
Karma

- This event was ridiculously under-equipped both in terms of toilet facilites and refreshments. The greedy event organisers are the ones who should bear the brunt of the criticism as it was absolute CHAOS in there. There were women queuing for 20-30 mins to use our MENS toilets and 1½ to 2 hour queues at the bars too, shocking stuff. Been to Move Festivals at LCC before with far less hassle so not the venue. Blind greed clouding their common sense more like.
