Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor will play at a special concert to celebrate Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday next year.
The concert on June 27th will also help to raise awareness for the 46664 HIV aids campaign which the Queen duo helped launch with Mandela in 2003.
The campaign was launched to help directly attack the global problem of aids.
The charity takes its name from Mandela’s prison number which was given to him during his eighteen year prison sentence on Robben Island in South Africa.
The first 46664 concert took place in South Africa in 2003 with performances from Beyonce Knowles and Bono.
