Bob Marley’s family say they may launch legal proceedings against Universal Music and the communications giant Verizon.

However the company owned by Marley family, Fifty Six Hop Road Music, have released a statement saying it was without their consent. It reads: "The agreement was entered into without the permission of the Marley Family."
According to the BBC, it went on to say the deal is "not in accordance with Marley's longstanding contract with Universal Music Group."
In response, Universal Music have released a statement rubbishing this, saying they "are offering Bob Marley ringtones through Verizon in accordance with the terms of a long standing contract between Bob Marley and UMG."
The mobile ringtones deal coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Bob Marley classic Exodus.
