Amy Winehouse Pulls Out Of MTV's VMAs

As she continues to fight her addictions...

Amy Winehouse has cancelled all her performances in North America including an appearance at MTVâ€™s VMAs.

The troubled singers US record label Universal Republic confirmed yesterday that she has pulled out of the September 9 event.

In a statement they said that the decision had been taken "in a continued effort to support Amy Winehouse's well-being".

Last week Winehouse cancelled her entire US tour following her non-appearance at the V Festival.

Next week she will find out if she has won this yearâ€™s Nationwide Mercury Prize.
