Amy Winehouse has cancelled all her performances in North America including an appearance at MTV’s VMAs.
The troubled singers US record label Universal Republic confirmed yesterday that she has pulled out of the September 9 event.
In a statement they said that the decision had been taken "in a continued effort to support Amy Winehouse's well-being".
Last week Winehouse cancelled her entire US tour following her non-appearance at the V Festival.
Next week she will find out if she has won this year’s Nationwide Mercury Prize.
