Rolling Stones: ‘We’ll Never Stop Touring’

The Rolling Stones concluded their two year world tour in London on Sunday (August 26th) with guitarist Ronnie Wood stating that they’ll “never stop” touring.

Despite ongoing speculation that the band’s performance at the O2 Arena – formerly the Millennium Dome – would be their final curtain call, the band are remaining defiant.

Wood told the Sun: “We need a rest but of course we will tour again. We’ll never stop!”

The Bigger Bang tour began in Boston, America on August 21st 2005 and has since become one of the most successful tours in history.

The band’s North American shows alone grossed over $300 million with 2.2 million American’s turning out to watch the performances.

    • Just AMAZING still !! The O2 Dome was buzzin. Finished the tour ’at home’, just perfect. Still coming down after seeing the last two gigs.

    • Why would they stop? Would be silly really really as so many people of all ages still want to see them perform. This tour was magic, rip-roaring stuff.
