Reports from the US over the weekend suggest that My Bloody Valentine are set to reform and play live next year.
Although the rumours are yet to be confirmed talk is that the early 90s shoe gazers will play next year’s Coachella Festival and tour more widely later in 2008.
It is understood that Coachella booker Paul Tollett has been pursuing the band for several years.
He has previously had success in luring bands such as Jesus & Mary Chain and Rage Against The Machine from hibernation to play the festival.
An official My Bloody Valentine website and Myspace page have been set up in recent month’s further fuelling rumours of the reunion.
However, the band’s manager told the Daily Swarm that "there are no confirmed [My Bloody Valentine] shows at all" at this time.
