My Chemical Romance, Lostprophets Win Big At Kerrang! Awards

Lostprophets and My Chemical Romance were predictably big winners at the 14th Kerrang! Awards last night (August 23).

Held at The Brewery in London, My Chem and Lostprophets were handed the Best International Band and Best British band respectively.

Other winners included Enter Shikari who took the Spirit Of Independence gong and also beat Muse to the Best Live Band, Fall Out Boy (Best Video), Gallows (Best British Newcomer), and Machine Head who took best album for ‘The Blackening’ and the Hard Rock Hero award.

Nine Inch Nails were crowned this year’s Kerrang! Icons, Deftones took the Classic Songwriter Award, while Judas Priest were the latest addition to the Kerrang! hall of fame.

Im so glad mcr got that award the really do deserve it! Lostprophets done really well. Im going 2 see mcr in novemeber and hopefully going 2 see lostprophets 2

Im not surprise a bit that MCR got that award! they’ve worked so hard and totally deserve it. and gerard’s done well, he went all the way from sky high to rock bottom and to sky high again! MCR forever!

Wish I coulda seen it. MCR deserves everything they’ve got, they work so hard for everyone that loves them. and they do such and amazing job when live.
