Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil has defended his wife following her recent problems.
Fielder-Civil has been accused by some of being the reason why Winehouse has spectacularly fallen from grace.
He told the Mirror, however, that he’s going to stand by the singer and ensure she goes to rehab.
"Everyone thinks that everything that's happened to Amy is my fault and I'm portrayed as the bad guy,” he explained. “But I just want everyone to know that I love her so so much.
"She's so precious to me, she's my wife and I want to take care of her -that's why I'm taking her back to rehab."
Fielder-Civil also added that Winehouse’s drug problems aren’t as bad as they’re portrayed.
"If we were going to send a message to Amy's fans we would say don't worry, she's being looked after. We're going back to this retreat. Amy's fine.
"The reports about Amy and drugs aren't true to that magnitude."
Winehouse has cancelled her appearance at the V Festival this weekend (August 18th-19th) to recover from her “severe exhaustion.”
