Amy Winehouse has cancelled her appearance at this weekends V Festival (August 18th-19th).
The singer had been due to play a major role in the duel festival – which takes place at sites in Chelmsford and Staffordshire – but has pulled out following her recent troubles.
A statement from her management company explained the singer’s reasons for cancelling.
"Amy Winehouse is putting all her touring commitments on hold until further notice in order to address her health issues. Amy will not now be performing at this weekend's V Festival. Her family has requested that the media respect Amy's privacy at this time. There will be no further comment."
Winehouse entered a rehabilitation clinic with her husband on Tuesday but left within twenty four hours of her treatment.
So far Bright Eyes and The Bravery have also cancelled there performances a the festival.
