Despite his seemingly tough exterior, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl admits that he’s a big softie at heart.
The bearded singer says that if he sees anything on television involving the plight of animals – it tears him apart. In fact, he was left in tears after watching the promo for the movie ‘Free Willy.’
Speaking to MTV, he said: “I can’t help it man. If I see film with a duck and a pig walking through the woods talking to each other, I fall apart. I even started crying just watching the trailer for Free Willy.”
In the Zane Lowe interview for Gonzo, Grohl also admitted that he was a massive fan of Kaiser Chiefs.
As reported earlier today, Foo Fighters covered the Wings track ‘Band on the Run’ for a recent covers album.
