Mercury Prize nominees Maps are to tour the UK in October playing a total of eight dates.

The shows will begin with a gig in Cambridge at the soul tree and finish up at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds.

The band’s debut album ‘We Can Create’ is currently an outsider at 25/1 to win the prestigious Mercury Prize.

Tickets for the shows are on sale now, the dates are:

Cambridge, Soul Tree – October 5
Stoke, Sugarmill – 7
Nottingham, rescue Rooms – 11
Brighton, Barfly – 13
Bristol, Thekla Social – 15
London, KCLSU – 16
Sheffield, The Plug – 17
Leeds, Brudenell Social Club - 18
