Tens of thousands of Elvis Presley fans have flocked to his Graceland home to pay tribute to the music legend 30 years after his death.
Candlelight vigils were launched outside the home last night by people paying their respects to The King who died on August 16 1977.
Later this evening there will be a tribute concert in his honour. The show will merge footage of Elvis in performances alongside a real live band.
Tom Morgan, executive director of Elvis Presley Enterprises, said: “It's official - this is the biggest Elvis week and the biggest candlelight vigil ever."
Around 75,000 Elvis fans from around the globe have made the pilgrimage to pay their respects. Some had to queue for many hours to lay down their candles outside the Memphis home. Flowers, letters and gifts were also left.
Several fans were treated for heat exhaustion as temperatures reached over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
