    Wu-Tang Clan Cover The Beatles

    Wu-Tang Clan have covered the Beatles’, ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps,’ for their forthcoming album.

    The hip-hop group’s version of the song, which has been renamed, ‘Gently Weeps,’ also features former Beatle George Harrison’s son, Dhani Harrison.

    "He's the biggest Wu-Tang fan in the world," explained Wu-Tang’s RZA in an interview with Rolling Stone. "He knew all the kung fu shit! That's deep! I told him I would be honoured if he played his father’s song."

    Wu-Tang’s cover also includes Red Hot Chili Pepper’s guitarist, John Frusciante, who plays lead guitar while the collective rap over the top.

    Fan’s will be able to hear the collaboration on the band’s new album, ‘8 Diagrams,’ which is released on November 13th.

    • What a fantasticly original idea. Who’d ever think a rap super-group could enlist the talents of dead rock stars to come up with never-heard-before music and lyrics? I think we’re all going to be very lucky to hear Dhani Harrison and John Frusciante lend their talent to this project, considering neither of them are going to play anything original whatsoever. I guess Wu-Tang are spending their ”paper” on something other than big houses without any books and fur coats! I ca
