Amy Winehouse’s mother-in-law has confirmed that the troubled singer is a heroin and cocaine addict.
Georgette Civil – the mother of Wino’s hubby Blake Fielder-Civil – says that Amy told her the truth when they had a heart to heart some weeks ago.
Speaking of the husband and wife’s drug problems, Civil said: “You Can’t blame Amy, you can’t blame Blake. They’re just as bad as each other. It’s the hardest thing in the world for me to say in public that my son and his wife have a drug problem.
“I know my son had a drug problem ever since he was 20 and moved to London. I needed to know about Amy’s problems and we had a chat – just the two of us. She told me she was addicted to heroin and cocaine.”
In the candid interview with the Daily Mirror, Civil continued that both families are pleased that Amy and Blake are finally facing up to their problems, despite some initial friction.

”It’s the hardest thing in the world for me to say in public that my son and his wife have a drug problem.” - begging the obvious question WHY DO IT THEN?
- Heroin and cocaine - both barrels then...And her husband looks like a Pete clone. Go figure. What a waste(r)
- Amy Winehouse does more than just cocaine. She is admitted ketamine user which is way more harmful.
People think just because its a white powder its cocaine, by saying copcaine she takes the easy way out. But when the reports first came out, it was ketamine - media probably doesnt want to popularise that drug more than it already is.
Anyone who has followed her abuse knows she is a PCP (ketamine) addict, not just cocaine or heroin. Thats a whole nother class of drugs.

- PCP is not ketamine. Ketamine was developed as a medical alternative to PCP because PCP is far more toxic.
