Daft Punk are set to release a live album this autumn, taped at their show in Paris on June 14.
The Pyramid loving duo will release the as-yet-untitled album as a single CD and limited edition double disc which comes complete with the encore. There’s also plans in the pipeline for a live DVD to accompany the record.
Speaking to Billboard, Thomas Bangalter from the pair said: "We're from Paris and we hadn't played there for 10 years. It must have been a special night for the audience, as well as for us."
As well as the record, a live version of ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’ will be released as a single. The video was shot in Brooklyn and was directed by Oliver Gondry.
Bangalter added: "It is a montage of people shooting the song in the audience with 250 camera. We were inspired by the Beastie Boys' 'Awesome, I ****in' Shot That!' and tried to do that in a four-minute video."
