Amy Winehouse is currently "resting under doctors orders" according to a spokesperson for the singer.
Winehouse was admitted to a London hospital last week for what the spokesperson added was “severe exhaustion.”
Media speculation, however, has suggested that she was taken to the hospital following a drugs overdose. The singer’s spokesperson declined to comment that it was a drugs related incident.
Despite the latest announcement, Winehouse is still expected to appear at this weekend’s V Festival (August 18th-19th) – despite cancelling support shows with the Rolling Stones this week.
A spokesperson for the V Festival told the BBC: “We have not been informed by either Amy's record company or her management that she won't be appearing at this year's festival.
"Unless otherwise informed, organisers are expecting her to appear as planned."
