Rapper P Diddy has been revealed as the executive producer on a forthcoming biopic which documents the life of Notorious B.I.G.
P Diddy will join director George Tillmann Jr. – the man responsible for the Barbershop films – on the project.
An open audition has been announced for anyone who resembles the rapper to submit an audition tape, regardless of whether they have any acting experience.
B.I.G. was one of Americas foremost hip-hop artists until he was shoot dead in a drive by shooting in the US in 1997. The rapper was signed to P Diddy’s Bad Boy Records.
It’s understood that the screenplay – which will focus in the non-public side of the rapper – will be taken from Cheo Hodari Cocker's book, ‘Unbelievable: The Life, Death & Afterlife Of The Notorious B.I.G.’
The film will also be co-produced by B.I.G’s mother, Voletta Wallace.
