Klaxons are the latest in a long line of acts paying their respects to music industry legend Tony Wilson.
The band were introduced to Wilson at the Coachella Festival earlier this year where they were impressed with his attitude and enthusiasm despite fighting cancer.
James Righton from the trio told NME: “He took time out to speak to us. What really struck me was how passionately he talked about new music and the In The City music conference he organised despite his illness.
“He was so determined to be there and introduce The Happy Mondays, which he did. He was an innovator and a true legend. He will be sorely missed.”
Wilson died of a heart attack last Friday (August 10), aged 57.
