The quite brilliant Late of the Pier have hooked up with Erol Alkan on their new single.
‘Bathroom Gurgle’ is released through Moshi Moshi Records on September 10 and has been produced by Mr Alkan himself.
Clearly a big fan of the band, Alkan said: “They're not only the most exciting new band out there at the moment, but they are THE most exciting band around. Great pop music tends to come from bands moving the goal posts. Late Of The Pier not only move the goal posts, they've got a dozen football pitches to choose from."
The single is available via MP3 and 7-inch vinyl and comes backed with new song ‘VW’. The artwork is designed by band frontman Samuel Dust.‘Bathroom Gurgle’ is the follow up to their debut single ‘Space and the Woods’ which is now a collector’s item.
Late of the Pier cap off a busy festival season later this month, with appearances at Leeds and Reading.
