Prince Fans Warned Of No Shows

Prince fans are being warned that the star may not turn at advertised after show parties at the o2 Arena.

Parties have been held at the Indigo venue inside the o2, but many fans have been complaining that the pint sized Purple One has not turned up on many nights.

A statement released on the star’s official website confirms that the band usually opt to rest. However, Prince did perform guitar onstage one night with Beverley Knight one night.

Speaking to the BBC, a spokesperson said: “What's always been up on the official website was that Prince's band would play most nights, and on any given night the Purple One could come.

“But every night was going to be different and special. For instance, the other night, his opening act Beverley Knight took to the stage for a long, late-night jam session with Prince on the guitar, which was a very special surprise for the crowd."
