The release date for Martin Scorsese’s film about the Rolling Stones has been pushed back to April.
‘Shine A Light’ – which follows the band as they played an exclusive set of performances at New York’s Beacon Theatre last year – had been scheduled for release on September 21st.
It’s understood that the band’s heavy touring schedule has been the main cause of the delay as they fear they’d have been left with little chance to promote the film, reports WENN.
Scorsese flew out to meet the band in Italy last month to show them the finished version of ‘Shine A Light’ – which includes guest appearances from The White Stripes’ Jack White and US singer Christina Aguilera.
