Patti Smith and Juliette Lewis are amongst the acts performing a show to celebrate the birthday of Jack Daniels.
This autumn Jack would have been 157 (we’re not quite sure about the relevance) and to mark this occasion a handful of stars are being lined up to perform with the Silver Coronet Band.
The event is being held at the Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee on October 13 in front of just 200 fans – the exact spot where the famous alcoholic drink is produced.
Joining Patti Smith and Juliette Lewis are joined by The Noisettes frontwoman Shinghai for the one-off gig.
Mr Daniels himself formed the first Silver Coronet Band back in 1892. This incarnation features a host of established song-writers, producers and musicians.
The bash is open exclusively to competition winners only. More details can be found here
