A piano once used by Bruce Springsteen to write some of his greatest hits is up for auction on eBay.
The instrument belongs to his former girlfriend Lynn Goldsmith, who Springsteen lived with in New York fro two years from 1977-79.
According to the eBay page here, the likes of Keith Richards, Bob Dylan and Patti Smith have all played on the piano. Springsteen himself apparently used it to pen much of his album ‘The River.’
The lot has a reserve price of $10,000 with the owner stipulating that it must be picked up from San Diego in California, blowing many potential British bidders out of contention.
