Ever troubled Amy Winehouse collapsed in the early hours of yesterday morning, amid fears she had a drug overdose.
The singer was rushed into the London University College hospital by her husband Blake Fielder-Civil and a friend in a ‘semi-conscious’ state.
Reports claim that when she reached the reception her legs buckled beneath her and she fell to the floor at approximately 1am. She was then rushed into A & E for emergency treatment.
Once she was inside, Winehouse was given a shot of adrenaline and had her stomach pumped to revive her.
Her label Island Records has claimed that she was suffering from “severe exhaustion”, but today’s Sun is refuting these claims alleging that she had a “huge drug overdose.”
The star spent yesterday in hospital being watched by doctors. Her husband and parents were amongst those who visited her inside. She was eventually discharged late last night.
The collapse comes weeks after she cancelled a string of live dates, once again citing “exhaustion” for the reason. However, conflicting reports claim that on the night of her axed Summer Pops show, she was spotted in her favourite Camden boozer.

- Talk about attention seeking; shoulda checked herself into Battersea Dogs home instead - the four legged residents there would have more talent - go waste yourself some more Amy, like anyone really cares...
