Kanye West has declined fellow rapper 50 Cent’s challenge to go head-to-head on a TV Presidential-style debate.
As we reported yesterday, 50 Cent proposed the idea on US television last week because of the growing publicity between the two.
Both rappers are due to release their new albums - 50 Cent with, ‘Curtis,’ and Kanye West with his new album, ‘Graduation’ - on September 11th.
West rubbished the idea last night (August 7th) at the MTV Video Music Awards nominations in New York, however.
When asked about what he would debate he replied: "What am I going to debate about? I'm going to go in the studio and make music.”
Despite the intense publicity, West maintained diplomatic about the pair’s albums coming out on the same day.
"When I heard that thing about the debate, I thought that was the stupidest thing. When my albums drops and 50's album drops, you're gonna get a lot of good music at the same time."
Kanye West released the tracklisting and artwork for ‘Graduation’ today, to see what tracks will feature, click here.
