Much-troubled rapper Busta Rhymes is being sued for assault over an alleged incident that happened last summer.
Papers filed at the Manhattan State Supreme court claim that the hip-hop star and his entourage beat Roberto LeBron after he spat on one of their cars in August 2006.
20-year-old LeBron claims he was kicked in the head by Rhymes and his nine man crew in response to his insult.
Rhymes’ lawyer Scott Leemon says that he is yet to see the lawsuit and claims that nothing has yet been proven, reports Billboard.
Busta Rhymes – real name Trevor Smith – also faces separate drink driving, suspended driving and assault charges.
