Little Man Tate, have had a dig at their fellow Sheffield acts for not being very charitable.
The band were speaking after their benefit show at The Plug in Sheffield on Saturday (August 4), which raised money for victims of the recent floods which blighted the city.
Frontman Jon Windle told the NME: “I was surprised that more Sheffield bands weren’t playing. I think there were people who have more power in the industry could have done something, but I guess they were too busy or something.”
Sadly their was no mention of the chart conquerors Arctic Monkeys or their nemesis Jarvis Cocker. Earlier this year the former Pulp frontman labelled LMT as “an absolute pile of shit.”
As previously reported, Little Man Tate play their biggest show to date this winter. It takes place at Blackpool’s Empress Ballroom on December 15.
